Cyto is Hermione's starter pokemon, so naturally he's very protective of her. While he is usually serious, he also has a playful side, and likes to tussle with other pokemon for fun, often trapping their limbs inside his goo-like body. He's also naturally very curious, and likes to learn new things
HISTORY
Hermione met Cyto as a Solosis when she arrived in December 2017. He evolved at Ruins of Alph during a trip with Hermione, Credence and Newt Scamander in order to protect Hermione, but also to intimidate Jez - Credence's pokemon at the time who was playing tricks on the pair. He evolved into his final form during another confrontation with Credence's pokemon at Hermione's house when she was threatened by his Alakazam.
Umbra loves playing pranks, spooking both Hermione's pokemon and wild pokemon (causing Hermione to get in to far more fights than she would otherwise), and pulling on Hermione's hair when she's not looking. She's gotten worse since she met Jezebel, Credence's (and now Hermione's) Gastly, but she won't do anything that deliberately puts Hermione in danger or hurts her. She also has a bit of a crush on Cyto because he's just so serious.
HISTORY
Unfortunately for Hermione, Umbra decided to join her for fun after laughing herself silly scaring Hermione and her pokemon on Route 32. Since then, Umbra has made a solid friend in Jezebel the Gastly, and has been one of Hermione's main fighting team for some time. Following the attack at the Pokemon Prom in 2018, Umbra pushed Hermione to get a Dusk stone so she could evolve. Also, she gets a cool fancy hat in evolution.
Eques is, to put it plainly, a real bitch. She does things on her terms, and refuses to bow down to anyone. She stands up for herself, and isn't shy about telling other pokemon what she really thinks. She respects Hermione as a trainer if only because Hermione seems to know what she's doing, and she's seen her lay down the law with the annoying cats.
HISTORY
Hermione received Eques as a baby Skrelp from her friend Ivy. Eques only battles when she feels like it, and hasn't been a consistent part of Hermione's team. However after the incident at the Pokemon Prom (in which Eques also evolved), Eques is infuriated that those things dictated the battle, and has sworn to get revenge.
Pepon is a happy soul, but easily influenced by Umbra. He tends to follow her lead, but if he really feels uncomfortable about what she/they are doing, he won't do it, even with Umbra protesting. Often he and Umbra get into all kinds of mischief, and Umbra treats him like a bff.
HISTORY
Hermione wasn't expecting Ash to send an egg to her, but it's arrival was orchestrated by Umbra, who really wanted a ghostly playmate, and she couldn't resist when she saw Ash's egg post on the network. Thus Hermione ended up with a surprise Pumpkaboo named Pepon. At quite a high level, he got tired of being so much smaller than most of Hermione's other ghost pokemon and asked her to trade him to a friend and back so he could finally evolve.

Yorokobi is quite feisty and passionate. He works hard, and thinks he's amazing. He's not shy about letting people know how he's really feeling, although he doesn't come across as rude, just forward. He's also a romantic deep down, and loves seeing people and pokemon in love.
HISTORY
Hermione received Yorokobi as an egg from Ford Pines, and was surprised when he hatched with slightly different colouring from regular Togepi. He was Hermione's first shiny pokemon (cue lots of research). She carried him around a lot when he was a Togepi. During the Pokemon Prom (which Yorokobi refused to stay home for), he evolved into a Togetic on the eve of the dance due to the sheer amount of love and fun in the room. He evolved into a Togekiss the day Hermione came to the Ranch to get them, he was so happy to see her again.

Myrmyr took a liking to Hermione after accidentally trapping her in an arena trap at the Ruins of Alph. She's a fiesty pokemon, but surprisingly protective of Hermione. She hates it when Hermione leaves her at the house, and has worked hard to prove her mettle in battle so she can protect Hermione when necessary.
HISTORY
Hermione fell into Myrmyr's arena trap at the Ruins of Alph, and had to get rescued by Cycad. Myrmyr decided she wanted to go with Hermione, and followed her throughout the entire Ruins trip until Hermione relented. She's worked hard to evolve into her final form, which she's extremely proud of.
Caza is excitable, and just loves to romp around Hermione's plot of land. In particular she loves galloping over to Hermione to bowl her over with nuzzles. She's extremely sweet, and sometimes doesn't realise her strength when showing affection.

Hermione received Caza as an egg from Ford. When Caza hatched, Hermione immediately fell in love with her, and loves to study Caza and compare her to dinosaurs from her homeworld.

When he was a Swablu he enjoyed sitting on Hermione's head for a 'birds eye view' when travelling. Now he likes to scout the skies whenever she goes travelling.

Hermione received Nimbus as an egg from Newt, after seeing his Alteria and really wanting one of her own. He evolved into an Altaria shortly after Hermione returned and reclaimed him from the Pokemon Ranch.
Majestic is really unsure of herself and her looks. She sees the pokemon around her and wishes that she was as useful or as strong or as pretty. She appreciates that Hermione loves her the way she is when she's a Feebas, and would do anything for her trainer. When she evolved, she couldn't believe the way she looked, but she still lacks confidence.

Hermione received Majestic as an egg from Mari. She named the Feebas Majestic to help boost her confidence in herself. Hermione sees a kindred spirit in Majestic - both feeling unsure of themselves and their appearance. Hermione hadn't researched Feebas, so she didn't know that Majestic would evolve into a beautiful Milotic, which she did at level 16, much to Hermione's delight.

He knows his ability is a rarer one, so he's more than happy to help keep eggs warm. He won't let anyone know but he secretly loves watching baby pokemon hatch.

Obtained from Cecil as an egg, Hermione really wanted a Larvesta on her team to assist her with breeding.
Elidor is Hermione's second starter pokemon. He's extremely gentle, which is exactly what Hermione needed when she arrived for the second time, coming from a desperate fight. He's loyal and tends to stick by Hermione's side. He has no issues with her riding him, and goes at a slower pace deliberately not to jostle her when she does. In short, Elidor is a real sweet heart, which is what Hermione needs to heal her pain.

Hermione caught Gunther while on the ferry from New Bark to Pallet Town. Gunther really didn't give her a choice - he practically hid himself in her backpack and followed her around the ferry until she finally gave in in exasperation and tossed a ball towards him.

He, Umbra and Pepon are the dream ghost team - at least they think so.

Hermione received Colza as an egg from Kiki early in her trek from New Bark Town to the Pokemon Ranch near Lavender Town. Despite having had 3 badly behaved ghost pokemon already, the convenience of heat and light, especially one that could follow her around, meant Hermione temporarily lost her senses when she decided to take him.

Hermione saved Cidae very shortly after she arrived while on the boat crossing over from Johto to Kanto. Cidae was caught in a fisherman's net, and after Hermione freed her, she was too afraid to go back into the ocean water, so she stayed close to Hermione, until deciding she'd be safer with a trainer than in the wild.
Keie likes to be super helpful. Sometimes a little too helpful, and has a bad habit of going around unlocking every locked door, journal or safebox he finds. He's so proud of himself when he does it successfully, that Hermione, while telling him off, doesn't really have the heart to properly scold him for it.

Kabo is like a mother hen. Also she's noticed Hermione has a lot of nightmares, so she wants to learn Dream Eater so she can help alleviate those.

Hermione received Kabo as a surprise egg from Morgan.
Lago is an absolute diva with a capital D. She's beautiful, and she damn well knows it, and makes sure everyone else knows it too. She's constantly demanding attention and brushing, refuses to walk on dirt, and has a very picky diet. Hermione gushes over her, which doesn't help her already big ego. Some of Hermione's other pokemon are jealous of the attention she gives Lago, but most just roll their eyes at her antics.
Rakali loves to puff up and strut around (which is comically cute as an Azurill), trying to show that he's just as big and tough as the rest of Hermione's pokemon. He idolises Eques and tries to follow her around a lot and impress her with his skills, but she just brushes him off as an annoying little squirt of a pokemon. He's determined to show her he can be just as awesome as she is, and has been working on his sassy glare.

Acantha is not quite as much of a diva as Eques, however the two are so similar they often clash. However, they prefer to solve their problems by staying either as far away from each other as possible, or, in a complete 180, spar each other, before then giving each other the cold shoulder treatment. This can last for days, much to Hermione's dismay.
Dendra is just as naughty as her other ghost pokemon, but she knows how to avoid getting caught, and often pins the blame on Umbra. This causes a lot of fighting between the pair, out of sight of Hermione. In front of her, they present a united front, but behind the scenes is another story. Dendra and Umbra keep trying to one-up each other with their pranks, which sometimes get out of control.

Astra used to be super shy and didn't like going out in public much, preferring to stay in her pokeball. When she was let out, she tended to hide behind Hermione or levitated herself into Hermione's hair and using it as a hiding place. Now that she's evolved, she's really come into her own confidence, and is much braver, though still reserved compared to many of Hermione's other pokemon.
Rexy loves to bite everything. You'd think he was teething as the way he gnaws on stuff. Tree trunk? You got it. Rocks? Definitely. People and pokemon? He'll try but he'll also get a rude shock, especially from Hermione's more powerful pokemon. He's almost as bad as Caza in his playfulness, but he has way more temper tantrums if things don't go his way. And don't even get Hermione started on what happens when Rexy stubs his foot on a tiny rock. You'd think the world ended...

Jian is, in a word, awful. She refuses to let Hermione wield her without significant pain and drain, and she makes her displeasure in anything well known with a slap from the flat of her blade. Felix is attempting to work on their relationship so that Hermione can actually hold Jian without fear of death.

Lupus is quite lazy - he loves curling up near a fire more than anything, and would rather opt to sleep than follow Hermione around. However when he's in a battle, he's anything but lazy - it's the only time you'll ever see him really focusing on what he's doing. He and Cheton, Hermione's Skitty, have formed a strong bond since they hatched at the same time, and are rarely seen without the other around.

Hermione inherited Buttercup when Rainer disappeared because witch buddies and witch hats. Hermione's other Mismagius is DELIGHTED to have yet another ghost on Hermione's team, let alone another Mismagius.
Veronice is slightly different to regular Hisuian Sliggoo in that she's incredibly bubbly. Nothing much phases her, and she likes to make friends, often by sliming them out of love.

Hermione received Veronice as her starter pokemon when she was unexpectedly dropped into Hisui in the past.

Dio is quite standoffish to people and pokemon she doesn't know. She's also very proud, and not afraid to get into a fight if she feels it necessary. She's still ticked at Hermione's Hisuian Buisel for beating her up when she'd just been enjoying a river swim in Hisui.

Hermione caught Dio in an act of rescuing her from a Hisuian Buisel who had roughed her up. Hermione then went on to catch the Buisel as the only way to stop it from attacking. Dio evolved while Hermione was still in Hisui, being one of only 2 pokemon she could actually use there.

Lutrine is like a surly teenage girl. She lashes out, doesn't like to engage, and is moody most of the time, refusing to build a relationship with Hermione or Hermione's other pokemon.

Hermione caught Lutrine as a Buisel during her stint in Hisui after being attacked by her, managing to escape, and then rescuing a Quilfish (which she also caught).
