Kabo is like a mother hen. She's decided that Hermione needs looking after and she's damn well going to do it, and if that mean hypnotising her to sleep, she's going to do that for Hermione's own good. Also she's noticed Hermione has a lot of nightmares, so she wants to learn Dream Eater so she can help alleviate those.
